About the Program
We offer creative outlets for everyone, whether you're an artist or are looking to explore your creativity. You can pursue the latest in drawing, painting, design, ceramics, and art history. RVC hosts several art exhibits each year including a juried high school show and an RVC student show.
What can I do with this degree?
Whether you take art courses for enjoyment or you plan to transfer to a four-year college or university, you can build a creative foundation that can lead to a number of rewarding careers, such as artist, museum curator, designer, and more. Graduates of art programs often go on to work in education, marketing, and technology.
Program Pathways
Students should meet with an Academic Advisor to develop a clear pathway leading to a seamless transfer experience or transition to the workforce. For additional possibilities that may require an advanced degree or certification, make an appointment with an Academic Advisor.
