Removing Barriers

Throughout the fiscal year, we have witnessed firsthand the impact of philanthropy on our students' lives. Scholarships, made possible by the selfless contributions of our donors, have opened doors for countless individuals, enabling them to pursue their dreams and reach their full potential. We have seen students from varying backgrounds and circumstances flourish academically, gain confidence, and become future leaders in their fields, all thanks to the collective support we have received.

247 Scholarship Recipients

This fiscal year, 55% of our scholarship recipients were Female and 45% were Male. On average, scholarship recipients had a 3.34 Grade Point Average (GPA).

  • 8% of recipients identified themselves as a single parent
  • 52 recipients with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0

Recipient Location

The majority of our scholarship recipients live in Rockford (49.4%). We also saw recipients from Loves Park (11%), Belvidere (11%), Other (7.3%), Roscoe (5.7%), Poplar Grove (4.5%), Machesney Park (4.5%), Rockton (2.4%), Davis Junction (2%), and Byron (2%).
