SMART Camp

Sparking interest in the world of automation and fabrication, these one-week, non-credit summer camps allows current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students to explore the career areas of Welding, Robotics, and CNC Machining. In addition, participants will also learn about principles of entrepreneurship and how that relates to Career and Technical Education (CTE) careers.

About the Program

Participants will engage in hands-on welding, CNC, and robotics activities, work on a collaborative group project, and go on industry tours. Participants will also engage in lunch presentations with local industry professionals.

This program is free to participants! Breakfast and lunch are included each day of SMART camp.
